The Woodlands Xploration Center
- The Houston Museum of Natural Science's fantastic kid's world based in the Woodlands Mall. A great way to enjoy the museum without having to drive downtown!

Main Street Youth Theater
- The 2009- 2010 season will include: Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type, Afternoon of the Elves, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, Barbra Park's Junie B. Jones and a Little Monkey Business, and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Renaissance Festival
- One of the nation's largest renaissance theme parks. October 10th- November 29th.

Schlitterbahn Galveston
- A fun-filled water park in Galveston.

Forbidden Gardens Katy
- This is a really cool day trip to Katy. Forbidden Gardens has an exact model of the Forbidden City in China and an excellent display of the Terracotta army from Emperor Qin's Tomb.

Blue Bell Creamery Brenham
- From Houston, take Highway 290 West approximately 72 miles, turn right on Loop 577 which becomes Blue Bell Road, go past the second stoplight and the creamery is on the right. There is free ice cream at the end of the tour!

Houston Arboretum
- There are Try-It and Badge workshops available to Girl Scouts.

 

Mercer Arboretum
- Just a short distance around 1960 East.

 

Jesse Jones Park and Nature Center
- Pioneer and Indian village. Pioneer day once a year. Girl Scout Workshops offered. All events are free.
  Located off of 1960 East.
